Smart Street Lighting Project In Romania
CHZ’s project this time is to transform LED smart street lights in the suburbs of Iasi. Some of the street lights in Yasi were traditional HID, with power mostly 250W and above; some of the street lights were LED street lights that had been installed for many years, with low light efficiency and difficult to monitor, requiring on-site manual inspection. It not only wastes energy, but also wastes a lot of manpower and material resources. The project has installed more than 8,000 sets of smart street lights CHZ-ST29. This smart street light uses the highest brightness SMD5050 light source and a specially customized lens to achieve high light efficiency and good uniformity. It adopts intelligent energy-saving mode and sets automatic dimming at night to reduce power, reducing street light power consumption by more than 50%. For an 8-meter-high cement light pole, the arm length is about 1.2m. Using 20W power, the average ground illumination reaches 25LX; using 30W power, it reaches 31LX; and using 50W power, it reaches 38LX. The uniformity has reached 0.6, fully meeting or exceeding the standards required by the municipal department.
Fangda Intelligent System carries out intelligent control of street lights. The system can clearly display the location, quantity and status of the installed smart street lights. Each set of street lights is numbered and can be controlled centrally or individually. When the on-site debugging power was reduced to 10%, the maximum illumination of the street lights still reached 6.5LX; compared with previous years, the total lighting power consumption was reduced by more than 80%. Both the general public and municipal management departments are very satisfied with the quality and lighting effects of our smart street lights.
